Black Metal: Beyond the Darkness for which I have contributed the cover photo and spreads has just been published by Black Dog Publishing. The book "features a chronological historical overview of the genre’s developments; a multitude of band profiles and case studies on classic records; information on seminal record labels, peripheral industry individuals and shops; archival visual material; and a range of essays discussing Black Metal’s inherent relationship with radical environmentalism, fine art, sexuality, transcendentalism and theatrics, amongst other topics."

'Black Thorns in the Black Box' will be screened at the Spectacle Theater in Brooklyn tonight and will then be travelling on to the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles in August.

'Nekrosus' will be shown as part of 'Black Thorns in the Black Box', a screening program that accompanies an exhibition curated by Amelia Ishmael on art and black metal. The exhibition is currently on show at Paragraph Gallery in Kansas City and will be touring to Chicago this spring. More info can be found on Amelia's website.

I am happy to have been selected for the Wysing Arts Centre Escalator Free Association Retreat in December. I will soon also be showing some work at NURTUREart in Brooklyn. 'VIDEOROVER: Season III' will be on from the 18th December till late May next year.

Hal Silver will be performing 'Hal Silver Speaks' at Aid and Abet in Cambridge on Sat 29th Oct as part of a day of performances curated by The Woodmill. The performance will also be broadcasted at 7.30 pm on the 1st Nov as part of the Cast & Figment event series at Soundfjord Gallery, London.

Five Storey Projects' For Inclusion in the Syllabi opened at The Pigeon Wing yesterday. On till the 30th Sep, it exists as both an exhibition and a publication and features over twenty contributors.
