Untitled (Fog)
Looped video, 8.30 min, 2011

A mighty spruce tree comes into view, with wisps of fog rising from the undergrowth. It is a sublimely romantic image, with eerie undertones. But soon the construct becomes clear: the forest is a printed image pasted on a wall in the artist's studio, and the fog comes from a smoke machine which gradually fills up the studio.
